A motorcyclist died Thursday morning after a collision with a pickup truck in Manatee County, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on State Road 70 East near Brendle Road around 7 a.m.
The initial report stated that a Chevy Silverado, towing a trailer, slowed down to turn into an RV business driveway. As the pickup truck began to turn, the motorcyclist attempted to pass slower traffic by entering the eastbound lanes when it collided with the pickup truck.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist sustained a fatal injuries from the accident and was pronounced dead.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
