
Pelham Police Arrest Driver for DUI After Car Crashes into Tree
A single-vehicle crash in Pelham, New Hampshire, led to the arrest of 36-year-old Kevin Monteiro of Hudson, NH, on charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Reckless Operation.
According to the Pelham Police Department, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Windham Road at 12:07 a.m. on March 20, 2025. Upon arrival, they found a heavily damaged 2014 Toyota Corolla on the side of the road.
The investigation revealed that Monteiro was driving north on Windham Road when he crossed the double yellow line and crashed into a tree and a large rock. The vehicle flipped and landed upright.
Monteiro sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Officer Dakota Clark conducted the investigation and determined that Monteiro was impaired, leading to his arrest.
