Eliyahu Fink Death-Obituary: New York Man, 43, Killed in Garden State Parkway Crash
A fatal single-car crash on the Garden State Parkway in East Orange, New Jersey, has claimed the life of a 43-year-old man from Suffern, New York.
According to New Jersey State Police, Eliyahu Fink was driving a Tesla Model Y southbound on the parkway when the vehicle crashed and became disabled at milepost 146.4 around 12:58 a.m.
Fink exited the car and remained in the roadway, where he was struck by a Jeep Cherokee, also traveling southbound. The impact sent Fink airborne into the northbound lanes, where he was hit by multiple vehicles, sustaining fatal injuries.
Miraculously, no one else was injured in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by state police.
The Garden State Parkway was the scene of a tragic accident that has left a community in mourning.
