Fatal Motorcycle Accident Closes 95N at 407 in Titusville
A fatal motorcycle accident has closed the 95N highway at exit 407 in Titusville. The incident has sparked an outpouring of concern and prayers from the community, with several witnesses sharing their accounts of the accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it went off the side of the road and hit the guardrail. Witness Scott Pikus described the scene, saying, “I saw it happen. I was southbound, his front wheel was completely out of control, ‘death wobble’ (mc term) and he slammed into the guardrail going at least 70 mph.”
Pikus, who called 911 to report the incident, expressed his condolences, stating, “From what I saw, that accident was most likely not survivable, but praying for the rider and their family.”
The community is coming together to offer support and prayers for those involved in the accident. Laurie Clark shared her concern, saying, “This is the third motorcycle today that’s been hit or has caused an accident. Prayers for all involved.”
J.M. provided some clarity on the incident, stating that the motorcycle was a cruiser, not a sports bike, and that the rider was not hit or run off the road by another vehicle. Bystanders pulled over to help, starting CPR within a minute of the accident.
The 95N highway remains closed at exit 407 while authorities investigate the incident. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and exercise caution when driving in the area.
The community is mourning the loss of life and offering support to the family and loved ones of the deceased rider.
