
Report Released on Delta Plane Crash at Toronto’s Pearson Airport
A preliminary report on the Delta plane crash at Toronto’s Pearson Airport on February 17, 2025, has been released by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB).
The incident occurred when the plane’s right landing gear broke during landing, causing the plane to flip over and break off a wing.
All 80 people on board survived, with several passengers suffering injuries. The report notes that an explosion occurred outside the aircraft on the left wing after passengers and crew were evacuated, but the cause of the explosion has yet to be determined.
