
Child Shot at Fair in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Police Investigating
A child was shot on Saturday night while attending a fair in Fayetteville, North Carolina, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The shooting occurred just after 8:20 p.m. in the 6900 block of Cliffdale Road, near S. Reilly Road in western Fayetteville.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The severity of the injuries is not currently known.
The shooting took place in the parking lot area of businesses along Cliffdale Road, where a small fair was being held.
The Fayetteville Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit is actively investigating the incident.
Several police cruisers and evidence markers were seen in the parking lot near carnival rides and businesses.
