Joshua and Aaron Davis Death-Obituary: Brothers, 22 and 23, Killed in High-Speed Crash on I-95 in Philadelphia; Twin Brothers, 18, Critically Injured
A tragic car accident occurred on I-95 in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond section on Friday evening, claiming the lives of two brothers, Joshua Davis, 22, and Aaron Davis, 23, from New Jersey.
The accident involved a Mazda carrying the four brothers, which veered off an I-95 overpass and landed 20-30 feet below on Castor Avenue. Joshua and Aaron, who were in the rear seats, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene and a nearby hospital, respectively.
The driver and front passenger, the 18-year-old twin brothers, were transported to nearby hospitals and remain in critical condition. A puppy riding in the vehicle also lost its life in the accident.
Witnesses reported that the Mazda was racing a Dodge Challenger at high speeds on I-95 northbound before the driver lost control, which may have contributed to the fatal crash.
