10-Vehicle Pileup on I-35 in Round Rock Leaves 1 Dead, 3 Injured
A massive multi-vehicle crash brought traffic to a standstill on I-35 in Round Rock, Texas, this morning, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
The Round Rock Police Department responded to the scene near RM 620 at approximately 11:40 a.m., where they found 10 vehicles involved in the collision.
Emergency crews worked to extricate trapped passengers and provide medical aid. Unfortunately, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash impacted both northbound and southbound lanes of I-35, causing significant delays. However, authorities reopened all lanes by 5:30 p.m.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The Round Rock Police Department will release additional information as it becomes available.
