LEHI, Utah — On Thursday, a fatal rollover crash occurred on the northbound Interstate 15 near Point of the Mountain.
According to the initial report, a man driving an SUV was involved in a multi-vehicle collision at the Salt Lake and Utah county border shortly before noon.
The man sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials are yet to release his identity.
The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and it is anticipated that the scene will be cleared within three hours.
Currently, four right lanes on I-15 are closed, but two left lanes remain open.
