Aminah Johnson Death-Obituary: Tragic Shooting Incident Claims Lives of Pregnant Mother and Partner
A heartbreaking incident occurred earlier this week near 98th and Marsh Avenue, where a pregnant mother, Aminah Johnson, and her partner, Derrick Rhodes, were fatally shot. According to police, the couple had a dispute with friends, which turned violent, resulting in their deaths.
The friends had allegedly vandalized the couple’s home before the fatal shooting. Aminah, who was pregnant with her third child, sadly lost her unborn baby due to injuries sustained during the incident.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, and the police are seeking information to help solve the case. A $30,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest, with a significant portion of the reward coming directly from the family.
The community is in shock, and the families of the victims are grappling with the loss of their loved ones. The children of the couple are left bewildered and uncertain about their parents’ whereabouts.
