
Fatal Shooting Outside Long Beach Grand Prix Claims One Life
A shooting outside the Long Beach Grand Prix on Saturday, April 12, 2025, resulted in one fatality. Shortly before 6 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire on the 0 block of Cedar Walk and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to authorities, a verbal dispute between the victim and one or more suspects escalated into violence, resulting in the shooting. Homicide detectives are investigating the scene and urge anyone with information or video footage to come forward.
