
Two Separate Shootings in Grand Rapids Leave One in Critical Condition
Grand Rapids, Michigan – Two shootings occurred on Sunday, leaving one man in critical condition and a 15-year-old boy with non-life-threatening injuries.
The first incident involved the 15-year-old boy, who arrived at a hospital around 5:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the leg. The second incident occurred around 6:45 p.m., when an adult male was found shot near Batchawana Street SE and Newton Avenue SE. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating both incidents, but believes they are unrelated.
