Tragedy on A623: 18-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies in Lorry Collision
Morecambe, April 20 – Authorities have reported a devastating incident has happened on the A623 Bay Gateway in Morecambe, that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old pedestrian.
At 03:00 BST on Sunday, it was gathered that the officers were called to the scene between Mellishaw Lane and Northgate, where a lorry was involved in a collision with the pedestrian.
The identity of the deceased has not been released by the officials pending when the family members are notified.
Tragically, the young man, a resident of Morecambe, was pronounced dead at the scene. Lancashire Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and are seeking any available CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist in their investigation.
