
Pierce County Driver Charged with Vehicular Homicide After Fatal Crash
Tukwila, WA – Authorties reported that a 20-year-old driver from Pierce County is facing charges of vehicular homicide after a rollover crash on Saturday night claimed the lives of two male passengers. The incident occurred around 9:40 pm on state Route 900 in King County, north of Tukwila.
According to the Washington State Patrol, speed was a contributing factor to the crash. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over and came to rest on its side. Two passengers, including a 17-year-old from Redding, California, died at the scene. The driver was injured and taken to a local hospital.
The road was closed for over four hours following the incident.
The State Patrol’s investigation is ongoing.
