Rush Hour Crash Blocks A264 in Tunbridge Wells
Tunbridge Wells – A morning accident on the A264 has caused disruptions to rush hour traffic. The incident occurred around 8:15 am between the Kingswood Road and Bayhall Road junctions, partially blocking the westbound direction.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the accident resulted in queueing traffic from Kingswood Road to Bayhall Road. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles involved in the crash, with one vehicle left in Kingswood Road with front-end damage and another, a white four-wheel drive, parked on Bayhall Road.
Debris from one of the vehicles, a turquoise car, was scattered along Pembury Road. Fortunately, the road was cleared by around 8:20 am, allowing traffic to resume flowing.
Kent Police have been contacted about the incident, and further updates are expected as the investigation unfolds.
