
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — Authorities have reported a high-speed, head-on collision that closed both directions of State Route 522 east of Fales Road.
According to Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue, the accident happened on the west of the Snohomish River on the 12900 block of SR 522. Emergency responders rescued both drivers from their vehicles.
Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue wrote in a press release “Upon arrival, firefighters found that one occupant of the Suburban had self-extricated and was on the ground.” “The drivers of both vehicles required extrication by SRFR firefighters.
It was gathered that three individuals sustained serious injuries and were classified as Advanced Life Support (ALS) patients. They were all rushed to them to local hospitals by Paramedics.
The officials are yet to disclose their current conditions.”
After being closed for hours due to the collision, SR 522 is now open again.
