A Tragic Accident
It was gathered that the accident occurred on Route 31 in Hopewell Township when a Honda Civic carrying Jacob and two classmates crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a tractor-trailer. Despite efforts to save him, Jacob was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. His two classmates were seriously injured in the crash.
Celebrating a Life Cut Short
Jacob’s viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1, from 3-6 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, followed by burial at Jesus Bread of Life Cemetery.
Due to the anticipated high volume of guests, mourners are asked to carpool to the service. Lenape Principal Tony Cattani encouraged parents and guardians to accompany their children to the funeral to provide support during this emotional time.
