“We Lost Maddy Too Soon”: Family Raises Funds After Palmdale Crash
Friends and family are coming together after Madalynn Rose Lux, a 31-year-old mother from Lake Arrowhead, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning in Palmdale.
It happened just after 9:20 a.m. near Pearblossom Highway, where she and her husband were riding a motorcycle onto the northbound 14 Freeway. CHP says the bike overturned, hit the median, and she was thrown into a signpost. She didn’t survive.

Her husband, who was driving, was hurt but is recovering. The couple had just gotten married three weeks earlier. They leave behind their baby boy, who is only 11 months old.
Two GoFundMe pages are now live to help cover funeral and memorial costs.
“Any amount helps. This will go to her family as they grieve and try to heal,” wrote Devin Curran, who started one of the fundraisers.
“Money won’t take away his pain,” added Laura Dallolio, a cousin of Lux’s husband. “But it can ease a little of the burden ahead.”
Both fundraisers are online now for those who want to help.
