
SHAWNEE COUNTY, KS – Emergency responders are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 75 in Shawnee County, Kansas, that occurred on Tuesday, February 18.
According to the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported at approximately 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 75 and Northwest 78th Street. The collision involved a snow plow and a pickup truck.
A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper at the scene stated that the snow plow was crossing the highway when it struck the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries, while the snow plow driver suffered minor injuries.
As of 2:45 p.m., emergency crews were still on the scene, and northbound traffic was reduced to one lane. Southbound traffic was not impacted by the crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and further details will be released as they become available.
