
LOUDON, N.H. – A devastating head-on collision on Route 106 North in Loudon has claimed the life of one person and left two others injured, according to the Loudon Police Department.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, involving a utility truck and a Jeep. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, and a medical examiner was called in to assist with the investigation.
A detour was set up at Loudon Ridge Road in Loudon and Allens Mill Road in Gilmanton, causing significant disruptions to traffic for several hours. Route 106 has since reopened.
The identity of the deceased person has not been released, and the extent of the injuries sustained by the other two individuals is currently unknown.
The Loudon Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
