
Pragathi Reddy, Suneetha, and Arvin Death-Obituary: Three Members of Indian Family Killed in Head-On Collision in Florida
A tragic road accident occurred in Osceola County, Florida, on Sunday, claiming the lives of three members of a family from Telangana’s Rangareddy district in India.
The victims, identified as Pragathi Reddy (34), her mother-in-law Suneetha (56), and son Arvin (5), were traveling in an SUV when a pickup truck driving on the wrong side of the road collided head-on with their vehicle.
Pragathi’s husband, Rohit Reddy (34), who was driving the SUV, and their nine-month-old son survived the crash with injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 2:50 pm local time between Kenansville Road and Yates Ranch Road. The SUV veered off the road and overturned, resulting in the fatalities.
Pragathi and Suneetha were pronounced dead at the scene, while Arvin was declared dead at a hospital. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by police.
The family was associated with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party in India, with Pragathi being the daughter of former MPTC member Mohan Reddy and former sarpanch Pavitra Devi.
