
M11 Lane Closed After Two-Van Crash in Cambridgeshire
A collision between two vans on the M11 in Cambridgeshire caused significant delays for drivers on Wednesday, March 19. The incident occurred near Girton, resulting in the closure of one southbound lane.
According to Cambridgeshire Police, officers responded to reports of the crash at 8:45 a.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Traffic monitoring company Inrix reported the incident at 9:50 a.m., stating that one lane out of two was closed. To manage the traffic, vehicles were held temporarily for approximately 30 minutes before 11:35 a.m.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue crews also attended the scene, advising drivers to seek alternative routes due to significant traffic buildup.
The lane closure caused delays for motorists, but authorities worked to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.
