
Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Las Vegas Strip
A fatal crash occurred on the Las Vegas Strip early Wednesday morning, claiming the life of a motorcyclist. The incident happened at the intersection of East Reno Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard around 12:15 a.m.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the motorcyclist, estimated to be between 18 and 25 years old, was traveling southbound on the Strip when he ran a red light at Reno Avenue. A driver in a large SUV, who was making a left turn from Reno onto the Strip, collided with the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the SUV driver was uninjured and showed no signs of impairment.
This tragic incident marks the 36th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2025, highlighting the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices.
