A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a truck near a village.
Essex Police and paramedics were called to Northend Road, in Gestingthorpe near Halstead, shortly before 12:00 GMT on Friday.
The rider of a motorcycle, a man in his 30s, died at the scene. The identity of the victim is yet be released pending at the moment.
Officers closed the road while emergency services attended, but it later reopened.
