Nikman Sarraf Death-Obituary
A 19-year-old Texas A&M University student, Nikman Sarraf, tragically lost his life after being struck by a car on Wellborn Road in College Station on Wednesday night. According to College Station police, Sarraf ran onto the road near Fidelity Street around 10:15 p.m. and was hit by a vehicle.
Sarraf, an engineering student from Austin, suffered severe trauma and was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle cooperated with the investigation and remained at the scene.
The College Station Police Department (CSPD) launched a thorough investigation, deploying accident reconstruction teams, crime scene detectives, and a public information officer. The roadway was reopened around 2:30 a.m.
In a shocking turn of events, another Texas A&M student was hit by a car just hours later on Thursday morning, also on Wellborn Road. The second student was struck in the crosswalk at George Bush Drive and was taken to a hospital with injuries. The CSPD is continuing to investigate both incidents.
