
Fatal Crash in Burlington Township: Woman Killed, Infant and Driver Injured
A fatal collision between a minivan and a tractor-trailer in Burlington Township on Tuesday morning has resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to two others, including an infant.
According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Route 541 and Cadillac Road.
The minivan and tractor-trailer collided at a traffic light, causing fatal injuries to an adult female front-seat passenger in the minivan. The driver of the minivan and an infant passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, who was alone in his vehicle, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The identities of those involved in the crash have not been released, and no citations have been issued as the investigation continues.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the investigation into the fatal crash, with assistance from local authorities. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
