Yorba Linda, CA – A devastating multi-car crash on the 91 Freeway in Yorba Linda claimed the lives of two people and prompted a temporary closure of several eastbound lanes on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred around 1 a.m. at Coal Canyon Road, involving at least three vehicles. One of the cars burst into flames in the middle lanes of the freeway.
The incident led to a complete shutdown of all lanes, with traffic diverted to alternative routes. By 6 a.m., two lanes – the far right and far left – were reopened to drivers. All lanes were cleared shortly thereafter.
