
Car Fire on Belt Parkway Leaves One in Serious Condition, Another Injured
A vehicle fire erupted on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning, injuring two people and sending flames shooting into the air.
The FDNY responded to a report of a crash and vehicle fire near Erskine Street at around 8 a.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, revealing a charred and heavily damaged vehicle.
According to officials, one person suffered serious injuries and was transported to Brookdale University Hospital. A second person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by EMS at the scene.
The cause of the crash and subsequent fire remains under investigation, with authorities yet to release further details.
