Deadly Crash Involving Car and Bicycle Shuts Down Portion of 50th St. in Tampa
A fatal collision between a vehicle and a bicycle occurred on Thursday morning in Tampa, prompting a hours-long closure of a portion of 50th St.
According to the Tampa Police Department (TPD), officers responded to the scene along 50th St., just north of I-4, on Thursday morning.
The southbound side of 50th St. was closed from Melburne Blvd. to the I-4 interchange during the investigation, but has since reopened.
