Brent Lee Edmonson Death-Obituary: Motorcycle Accident Claimes Life of 20-Year-Old Driver
Authorities have reported a tragic accident that occurred on Highway 16 in Newton on Tuesday morning which resulting in the death of 20-year-old Brent Lee Edmonson, the driver of a motorcycle involved in a collision with a Honda CR-V.
According to officials, the incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 16 and E 20th Street around 11:55 a.m. Police, EMS, and firefighters responded to the scene, where they found Edmonson deceased.
The Honda CR-V, occupied by two women, collided with the motorcycle as it traveled north and the Honda traveled west. The driver, 63-year-old Anna Killian Huffman, was transported to Catawba Valley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, while the passenger, 60-year-old Lisa Killian Robertson, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
