
Multiple Injuries Reported in BucketHead Tavern Shooting
A shooting incident occurred early Friday morning outside the BucketHead Tavern in West Knoxville, leaving multiple people injured.
The Knoxville Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the parking lot of the tavern on Ray Mears Boulevard at around 1:15 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2024.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims with gunshot wounds, who were subsequently transported to a local hospital. A fourth victim, also with a gunshot wound, arrived at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in a personal vehicle. The victims, consisting of three men and one woman, are believed to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A preliminary review of surveillance footage suggests that the suspect is a Black male wearing dark clothing and driving a dark-colored sedan.
