
Four people died in Colchester Accident today
According to Police, four people have died following the accident that happened on Magdalen Street in Colchester this morning.
The Essex Police reported that the accident which claimed the lives of four persons occurred around 4.40am on the 1st of February, 2025.
The identities of the accident victims have not been released at the time of this publication.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Four people have died following a collision in Colchester early this morning.
“We were called shortly before 4.40am today (Saturday February 1) to reports a vehicle had been in collision with a building in Magdalen Street.
“Emergency services attended but, sadly, four people died at the scene.
“Their families have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.
“The road has been closed for much of the day while the vehicle was recovered and we carried out enquiries.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 179 of 1 February.
