LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) —A collision on Route 222 north in West Earl Township on Sunday night has left one person dead and three others injured, according to the police.
Officers were called to the single-vehicle collision at mile marker 40.3 at approximately 10:20 p.m., according to West Earl Township Police.
An overturned 2019 Jeep Wrangler with five passengers inside was discovered by authorities on the site.
One person was declared dead at the spot, while three others were taken to the hospital with minor wounds.
According to an update from the Lancaster County Coroner, 32-year-old New Yorker Ling Ling Jiang was declared deceased on the scene at approximately 12:50 am. According to reports, Jiang was a passenger when the collision occurred.

It was gathered that the roads were “extremely icy” at the time of the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the crash and ask that anyone who witnessed it call West Earl Township Police Department at (717) 859-1411.
