
Tragedy Strikes Madison Community: Promising Young Athlete Drew Lenz Dies in Skiing Accident
MADISON, WISCONSIN – The Madison community is reeling in shock after the sudden and tragic death of 22-year-old Drew Lenz, a talented young athlete who passed away in a skiing accident in Colorado.
Lenz, a standout ice hockey player, was known for his exceptional skill, leadership abilities, and contagious enthusiasm. His passion for the sport began at a young age, and he quickly made a name for himself as a top player in the state.
“Drew had a fierce competitive drive, but he was also a wonderful teammate who always had a kind word and a positive outlook,” said one former coach.
Lenz’s dedication to the game and his ability to inspire those around him was evident in every practice and game he participated in. He set an example for others through his discipline, sportsmanship, and infectious enthusiasm for the sport.
