Juvenile Male Shot in Indianapolis Apartment Complex
A shooting incident occurred early Friday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis, leaving a juvenile male hospitalized. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of the shooting at Forest Park Homes, an apartment complex located at the intersection of East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue, just before 3 p.m.
Police found the juvenile male victim inside an apartment, and he was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Investigators are working to obtain a search warrant for the apartment and are interviewing witnesses at the scene. Several individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, were identified as possible witnesses.
At this time, the cause of the shooting remains unknown, and no suspects have been identified or arrested.
The IMPD continues to investigate the incident and is seeking information from witnesses.
