Rollover Crash Involving School Bus, Jeep Causes Lane Closures on I-93 Northbound
A collision between a school bus and a Jeep on Interstate 93 Northbound near Exit 39 has resulted in a rollover crash, prompting lane closures, MassDOT reports.
The collision occurred just after 3:00 p.m. and caused the Jeep to roll over. Fortunately, none of the children onboard the school bus were injured, Massachusetts State Police reported.
The driver of the Jeep sustained non-life-threatening injuries. However, the incident took a further turn when a black Toyota struck a fire truck responding to the scene and fled the area.
Both crashes are currently under investigation by Massachusetts State Police. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect delays in the area.
