Arrest Warrant Issued for Suspect in East Hills Fatal Shooting
Pittsburgh police have issued an arrest warrant for Jerome Thompson, 44, of North Versailles, in connection with the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Conrad Rozier in the East Hills neighborhood last month.
According to authorities, Thompson is facing charges of criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy, and weapons offenses. Investigators used video footage, cell phone records, and data to link Thompson to the crime.
The shooting occurred on February 18, when first responders were called to East Hills Drive after reports of a shooting. Police detectives canvassed the area, gathering evidence and witness statements.
Thompson is believed to have fled the Pittsburgh area and may be hiding in Erie. Police are urging anyone with information on Thompson’s whereabouts to come forward.
