
KENT — Kent Police arrested a 29-year-old Renton woman Sunday morning for allegedly stabbing a family member during a gathering.
Officers responded to a 3 a.m. call at an apartment complex on S. 272nd, where they found intoxicated family members with bloodstained clothing.
Amid initial confusion and resistance, police detained several individuals before locating the 28-year-old victim, who had multiple stab wounds.
Before losing consciousness, she identified her attacker. The suspect was found with a child inside the apartment, while other children were found unharmed. Witnesses linked the stabbing to a family argument.
Kent Police Detectives, aided by Federal Way Police, secured the scene, obtained a warrant, and gathered evidence. The investigation continues.
