UPDATE: Route 12 Reopened After Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Killingly
A motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred around 3:15 pm today at the intersection of Route 12/Putnam Pike and Church Street in Killingly, prompting an immediate response from emergency crews.
The accident, which involved a collision between a car and a motorcycle, resulted in reported injuries, and KB Ambulance was dispatched to the scene to provide medical assistance.
Route 12 was temporarily closed north of Attawaugan Crossing Road while emergency responders worked to clear the scene. The road has since reopened.
