Two Fatal Accidents in Berkeley County Under Investigation
Berkeley County, SC – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has released the names of two victims who lost their lives in separate accidents in Berkeley County.
According to Coroner Darnell Hartwell, the first incident occurred on February 27, when 26-year-old Gabriel Lazo of Goose Creek was involved in a motorcycle accident on Liberty Hall Road around 9:30 p.m. Lazo was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The second incident involved a 20-year-old man from Summerville, Dylan Sirkorski, who was riding an ATV on Trade Center Parkway in the Berkeley County portion of Summerville. The accident occurred just after 11 p.m. on February 27, and Sirkorski was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Both incidents are currently under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s office is working to determine the circumstances surrounding both accidents and will release further information as it becomes available.
