
An accident that happened on the M5 in Somerset, Monday, February 3, 2025, afternoon, has caused major delay on the southbound carriageway at junction 24, near Bridgwater.
Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the accident happened at about 12.06pm and traffic was held around 12:00 to 12:20.
According to report, Fire engine, police and ambulance are activity at scene gathering report.
Drivers were told: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary following collision on southbound from J24 A38 Taunton Road (Bridgwater South) to J25 A358”.
Two lanes were closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M5 Southbound from J24 A38 Taunton Road (Bridgwater South) to J25 A358 (Taunton).
The gravity of the accident is unknown at time of this publication.
