
Serious Road Traffic Collision on A41 Leaves Pedestrian with Life-Threatening Injuries
The officials have reported a road traffic collision that occurred on the A41 southbound, prior to the junction for Chesham, at approximately 5:50 am this morning, Monday, March 17, 2025.
Emergency services, including Hertfordshire Constabulary, East of England Ambulance Service, and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, responded promptly to the incident.
The collision involved a black Land Rover Velar and a pedestrian, with the pedestrian, a man in his 30s, sustaining serious injuries and being transported to the hospital.
A man in his 40s has been taken into custody on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
The incident has resulted in road closures, with the A41 eastbound between the A4251 (Tring/Northchurch Turn off, Tring) and the A416 (Berkhamsted) remaining shut.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes until further notice.
