A tragic accident occurred on the Barrier Highway in South Australia’s mid-north region this morning, resulting in the death of a 56-year-old man from Paralowie. Emergency services were called to the scene, 18 kilometers south of Burra, at 6:20 am on Friday, February 14, after reports of a single truck rollover.
The driver of the Hino truck, sadly, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Major Crash Investigators have been deployed to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
As a result of the incident, the Barrier Highway remains closed between Black Springs and Hanson.
This tragic event marks the 16th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
