
Aaron Cortez May death-Obituary: Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Beloved Louisville Man
Aaron Cortez May, a 33-year-old Louisville, Kentucky, native, passed away on March 28, 2025, after a devastating motorcycle accident. Born on May 26, 1991, in Jefferson County, Kentucky, Aaron was adopted by Melissa and Eric May, but maintained a close relationship with his birth mother, Sharon Cowherd, and birth family.
A Charlestown, Indiana, resident and graduate of Charlestown High School, Aaron excelled in sports, including football, wrestling, and track and field. He held a notable record in the 4×100 relay with his teammates. Professionally, Aaron worked as a piercer at Tatu in the Saint Matthews Mall.
Known for his vibrant personality, creativity, and love for tattoos, piercings, music, and fashion, Aaron lived life to the fullest. As a devoted father to his two daughters, Zariya and Wednesday, he was attentive, patient, and loving.
Aaron is survived by his adoptive and birth families, including his parents, siblings, grandparents, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by several family members, including his great-grandfather, grandmothers, grandfather, aunts, cousins, and a close friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 6, from 5:30-9:00 PM at The Venro Venue in Charlestown, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a GoFundMe page to support Aaron’s family and establish a trust for his daughters.
Aaron’s memory will be cherished by those who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
