
Road Rage Incident Leads to Arrest in Nebraska
A 23-year-old man, Jacob Snyder, has been arrested in Bellevue, Nebraska, in connection with a road rage incident that occurred on an Iowa highway.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place early Tuesday on Highway 44 near Harlan, Iowa, when a white pickup truck allegedly fired shots at another vehicle, forcing it into a ditch. The victim was taken to the hospital.
After an investigation, authorities obtained a warrant for Snyder’s arrest and found him in Bellevue. He was taken into custody by the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting extradition.
The investigation involved several agencies, including the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office, Bellevue Police Department, and Omaha Police Department. Snyder faces charges of attemptedĀ murder.
