Hit-and-Run Investigation Launched After Motorcyclist’s Fatal Crash
A man in his 50s tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident on a busy roundabout in Chadderton last night. The incident occurred at approximately 7 pm near the Elk Mill retail park, off Broadway, when a motorcyclist was struck by a van.
Witnesses report that the van driver fled the scene, prompting a massive emergency response. Police, air ambulance, and fire services rushed to the crash site, where a cordon was established.
