A shooting at a manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio, left one person dead and five others injured, according to local police.
Authorities responded to the KDC/One beauty products plant late Tuesday night after reports of an active shooter. Approximately 100 employees were evacuated from the building.
Police confirmed that six individuals were transported to nearby hospitals, with one later succumbing to their injuries. Officials stated they had identified a suspect but had not yet made an arrest.
A firearm was recovered from the scene. At 1:30 a.m., the police indicated that the suspect was no longer believed to be in the area.
The incident is still under investigation by the Authorities.
