Man injured in Isanti County Fair crash has died, family says
CAMBRIDGE, Minn. — The man hurt during Thursday’s “Night of Destruction” event at the Isanti County Fair has died, according to his family.
Josh Wines was badly injured in a crash during the grandstand show. He was flown to a hospital, but didn’t make it.
His father-in-law confirmed the news. A post on a GoFundMe said Josh “fought courageously” in the hospital but his injuries were too much. The post also said he was an organ donor — his family says he wanted to help others, even in death.

Wines had just gotten married. The couple was about to leave for their honeymoon before the crash happened.
Money raised from the fundraiser will help with funeral and medical expenses, and support his wife.
The fair canceled Saturday’s “Night of Chaos” event. A prayer vigil was held instead that evening.
