A 49-year-old woman from Latham, Felipa Martinez-Garcia, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Monday morning, April 7, 2025, on Route 9 in Colonie. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Loudon Road, just north of Troy-Schenectady Road, when Martinez-Garcia was struck by a vehicle.
