Fatal Road Accident in Nilai Claims Life of 26-Year-Old Pos Aviation Cargo Employee
Nilai, Malaysia – A devastating road accident occurred on Jalan Persiaran Negeri, near Aurelius Hospital Nilai, on Saturday, March 1, resulting in the tragic death of a 26-year-old Pos Aviation Cargo employee.
According to Nilai OCPD Supt Abdul Malik Hasim, the accident happened at 6:55 am when the victim, driving a Perodua Alza, lost control of the vehicle while traveling in the right lane. The car skidded, crashed into a lamppost and a road divider, and then veered into the left lane.
Tragically, the out-of-control vehicle was then struck by a lorry traveling from Sepang to Nilai. The impact of the collision was severe, and the victim sustained fatal injuries.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver escaped the accident unhurt.
The incident is currently being investigated by the authorities under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. The police are working to determine the exact cause of the accident and will likely review factors such as speed, road conditions, and vehicle maintenance.
The fatal accident has sent shockwaves through the community, and friends, family, and colleagues of the victim are mourning the loss of a young life.
